Two-Way Text Banking
Quickly need your balance while you're standing in line at the grocery store or sitting in a restaurant? What if you're somewhere without good data coverage? Two-way text banking gives you the ability to access your balance and account history using simple text commands.
- Get balances for the accounts you select with a simple text message
- Retrieve the last 5 transactions on an account
How to enroll and setup alerts
To enroll for text banking, sign in to our mobile app select "Text Banking" from the menu to activate your accounts. If you have more than one phone (i.e., a personal and work phone) you may enroll on both phones. Others, such as spouses, will be enrolled separately with their mobile phone number.
Once you are enrolled in text banking, you can text the following commands to 39257 to access account information. Response time can be affected by phone reception or the bank’s nightly processing.
|BAL||Available balance for all enrolled accounts|
|BAL + text account code
(Example: BAL CHX1)
|Available balance for the specified account|
|HIST||Five most recent transactions for all enrolled accounts|
|HIST + text account code
(Example: HIST CHX1)
|Five most recent transactions for the specified account|
|HELP||A list of text commands|
|STOP||Ends text banking service on the device you are using|
Commands are not case sensitive.
When you view your account balances and history in text banking, you will only be presented with nicknames you set, not account numbers. Also, if you ever lose your phone, no transactions can be made with text banking.
