Create Customized Account Alerts

Online Banking enables you to set up alerts which notify you based on criteria you enter. To create an alert, log into Online Banking and click on the "Options & Tools" tab, then "Alerts".

Types of available alerts

Event alerts

You can set event alerts to notify you when certain types of activity take place on your account. Do you have a recurring transfer set up in Online Banking? You can set up an alert to let you know when that transfer will expire. Do you have CD or loan account with us? There's an alert for that too.

Balance alerts

Need to know when your line of credit has advanced, or when you need to transfer funds into your checking account? Balance alerts will notify you via e-mail or Online Banking when your account balance reaches the threshold you choose. Setting up balance alerts is as easy as selecting the account you want to monitor and setting the amount you want to be notified at.

Item alerts

Waiting for a check to clear your account? Item alerts can be sent up for specific check numbers so you will be notified via e-mail or Online Banking when the item clears.

Personal alerts

Personal alerts are your alerts. You can have an e-mail reminder sent to yourself for an appointment, a meeting, or anything else you need to remember. You can be notified via e-mail or Online Banking on the date you chose.

What happens once an alert is triggered?

Depending on what you've selected, you may get an e-mail or a notification the next time you log into Online Banking. The notification will be located above your account listing on the first screen in Online Banking.

If you're a Dashboard user, the alert will look like this:
